Chitose Hibiya

Hibiya is the landlady at the apartment Hideki is living in. After Hideki finds Chii, Hibiya helps him get clothes for Chii, and even teaches her how to use the baths.
It is later discovered that Hibiya's late husband invented the Chobits series for her because she was unable to have children of her own.
She also authors the "A City with No People" series of mysterious picture books.
